Let’s work on the 100-Year Centennial Refresh—an opportunity to leave something lasting at the club that has given all of our families so much enjoyment over the years. Here are the two projects the refresh will include: South Pool Deck / Park Side: We’ll renovate the aging south pool deck by removing the old planters and broken concrete and replacing the area with attractive stamped and dyed concrete. Beyond looking considerably better, this should improve accessibility, eliminate some of the hazards on that side of the pool, and give us roughly 15% more usable seating capacity. “The Cabana”: We’ll transform the area around the entrance to the ice machine room into a much more useful gathering space. The plan includes serving areas for holiday cookouts and events, a permanently mounted TV for sporting events with seating for those who want to watch, and additional covered space for shelter from those inevitable summer pop-up showers.
